Because today, i went swimming! Hahahah so what have you done today?

Yesterday, went down to kallang netball centre to support the juniors for their last match of a div with rj. Met cheryl and wanxin at TPY for subway (eat fresh!) for the 5.90 meal. lol. After that caught the aj vs hc wan and it was freaking exciting. Aj won i think. Had sinful kfc after that.

OMG. Why Kris and Adam???

TAYLOR SWIFT - YOU'RE NOT SORRY

All this time I was wasting
Hoping you would come around
I've been giving out chances every time
And all you do is let me down
And it's taking me this long
Baby but I figured you out
And you're thinking we'll be fine again
But not this time around

You don't have to call anymore
I won't pick up the phone
This is the last straw
Don't wanna hurt anymore
And you can tell me that you're sorry
But I don't believe you baby
Like I did before
You're not sorry, no no

Looking so innocent
I might believe you if I didn't know
Could've loved you all my life
If you hadn't left me waiting in the cold
And you got your share of secrets
And I'm tired of being last to know
And now you're asking me to listen
Cause it's worked each time before

But you don't have to call anymore
I won't pick up the phone
This is the last straw
Don't wanna hurt anymore
And you can tell me that you're sorry
But I don't believe you baby
Like I did before
You're not sorry, no no

You're not sorry, no no

You had me falling for you honey
And it never would've gone away, no
You used to shine so bright
But I watched all of it fade

So you don't have to call anymore
I won't pick up the phone
This is the last straw
There's nothing left to beg for
And you can tell me that you're sorry
But I don't believe you baby
Like I did before
You're not sorry, no no

You're not sorry, no no

LAX & LAS VEGAS (i knew having a diary wld come in handy!)

DAY 1:

DESTINATION: LOS ANGELAS AKA THE CITY OF ANGELS

Caught HSM3 (again) and Bedtime Stories on board.

Transit at Narita. Boarded plane again. Perused David Cook's, Lady Gaga's, Akon's, Neyo's, David Archeluta's, Christina Aguilera's album.

Sidenote to self: can really get used to this: ice cream after every meal (lol)

Checked in at Anaheim Park Hotel; then off we explored our surroundings abit and went in search for dinner. Decided on Tony Roma's but the fare was so-so although the garlic bread tasted weird. Oh and the waitress who served us was a Britney-lookalike! Hahaha. Set our sights on Ruby's for breakfast.

DAY 2:

Breakfast at Ruby's! Theme: old school. Check out their gum ball machine!

DISNEYLAND! (pretty self-explanatory, right?)

For every one hour we spend there, 45min was for queueing , 10min for navigating and 5min for the ride itself. And we spent the entire day there. Went around collecting fast passes, ate Churrios, taking photos and stuffs.

.
.
.

A glimpse of the Disney Magic: (frankly no time to upload all la! lol)

Ah the famous Disney Parade that runs only twice daily.

I didn't see any of the Disney Princesses around! No Snow White or the seven dwarves, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Little Mermaid and Mulan(?).

Disney Fireworks (nightly)

It was a myriad of colors as the sky lighted up. If you think Sg's fireworks on National Day are superb, you've seen nothing till you see Disneyland's! 20min of non-stop flashes of colors that stops everyone in their motion but to simply lift their heads up to observe the beauty of Disney's fireworks, attention fixated and, their mind simply fascinated by the sight before them. Even the pictures we capture couldn't explicitly illustrate and do justice to the allure of Disney's fireworks. Although half the reason why our pictures couldn't do justice was because of our off-timing and then after a while we just gave up. Lol so uh no photos on it. Anyway, i saw fireworks making smiley faces and mickey mouse shape. That was how cool it was.

DAY 3:

LAS VEGAS, BABY! AKA SIN CITY, CITY OF LOST WAGES, SECOND CHANCES

Had to bloody wake up and get ready by 610. Ate mac for breakfast en route. On the way there was pretty much sun, sand, mountains or maybe hills (idk how many metres they were elevated from the sea level lol) and lots of cars and pretty pretty clouds. Shall not bore you with scenery pictures. Then yada yada. Because we ended up running late, God knows why and certainly not our fault, the tour guide shortchanged us by cutting our shopping time. I wanted to boo him! Stopped for lunch at Quigley's Restaurant where they served really delicious stuffs and i ordered a Cheeseburger Deluxe or smth served with potato wedges and it was omg-ly good like mouthwatering delicious kinda of good and the meat so succulent. Man o man. After lunch, boarded the bus again. And just after some time after we resumed our treacherous journey to LV, the bus broke down when there was only 20 miles left to go. Not to ick you with details like bursting bladders, the only silver lining was the backdrop where almost everyone got down the bus to camwhore and enjoy the breeze because the a/c had to coincidentally break down too.

.
.
.

If you've been to Macau and thought that the hotels and casinos were shiny and flashy, again you've seen nothing until night time comes to Vegas although they do admittingly share some similarities cos the hoteliers were basically the same people. Talk abt the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. Anyway, they have theme hotels that will wow you yo your socks. Like one of them taking the shape of a pyramid (Giza), Eiffel Tower (Paris), Big Apple (New York), Disneyland and etc except in smaller scale. It's like some architecture's own mini world or dream come true. Several of them have roller coasters going in and out and around the hotels that will amaze you.

(omg i can't find the roller coaster one! tsk but look closer at the New York New York i think you can see the roller coaster rails.)

Checked in at Rivera where Harry the tour guide mentioned was featured in the film "21" and then we were off again to the next destination.

Went to visit The Venetian (sama sama as the one in Macau but still mediocre to the real Venice), Golden Nugget Hotel (named GN because they have the world's largest GN put on display there. ...) the volcano attraction (lame), musical fountain (more glorious than the Sentosa one which sis video-ed part of it down), and the Frame of Light: the world's largest tv screen where we caught that day's special; Queen's (not live) performing We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions of the World.

And i forgot which hotel we went to visit but one of them had the Guinness World Record for the largest chocolate waterfall. I could have an orgasm just by looking at it.

omg this is getting tiresome. shall cont tmr. toodles Grand Canyon tmr.

I WONDER WHY

Yay feel so accomplished after uploading all the images in my hp from the LA/LV trip. Seating down with the searing weather and scorching sun AND 400odd photos from 1245 with a mere overhead ceiling fan till now nearly did me in. No kidding man. Esp when Facebook only allows 60 in an album. Speaking of which, I'm not sure how or rather why i only have 11 photo albums so far when the LA/LV trip took up 8 alone. Where did the Perth and Macau trips pictures go?

Anyway, now that the bad mood has cleared, i dun mind blogging abt the 17 again movie date we had on 21st. Caught it at The Cathay with everyone in attendance except Theresa, the movie itself was quite awesome although i wasn't sure how much of the starting we missed. Frankly speaking though, without Zac Efron starring in it, i doubt i would have given the movie a second though. Talk abt star appeal. Went for B&J afterwards and the queue went surprisingly fast for a 2 level queue. Met Daphne coincidentally and we went to arcade afterwards while waiting for May. Hit the bball machine, Daytona, and then DDR with 7 ppl. Lol, like some loser la.

Anyway, the individual pics can be found at Facebook. Not bad right? I mean the collage. Sometimes i surprise myself too with what i can accomplish when i set my mind to it. Hahahah

If i were 17 again, i wouldn't want to be 17 again. So strange. There wasn't any major major milestone that altered my life with a whole complete turn the way Mike O' Donner had, what with his high school sweetheart being pregnant, college scouting and all. A's is of course, an entirely different matter.

LITTLE JANE WANTS TO GO OUT AND PLAY?

oh my. i'm having one of my rare state of clarity, where i dun care abt anything, what happened a few hours ago, days or even months ago but what i'm feeling from my surroundings at the moment. i shld think it's my inner peace summoning me. anyway, the sky looks ferociously red, and the wind is howling tumultuously, i just shut the flapping windows in the living room for fear they may not be able to live to tell the sordid tale tmr. rain is beating down unsparingly upon the windows. i wonder if it's leaking. the last time smth like this happened, somewhere out there, a hurricane or a typhoon was ruining some innocent place. what a weird day.

STORY OF MY LIFE

SO SCREWED SO SCREWED.

AND I HAD TO DIG A HOLE AND THEN FALL INTO IT MYSELF.

WHYWHYWHY

VISFCO VISFCO

i need a happy ending. pronto

the fast and the furious 4

Like aforementioned, Jordana Brewster who plays Mia Toretto was hot. Paul Walker who plays Brian O'Conner (from Into the Blue) was hot, esp when he was chasing a crook in his suit. After finally catching it, i can't help but feel a tad disappointed. I mean not only was the movie short (96min by my count), but Michelle Rodriguez who plays Letty died within 5min of the show. Lol there weren't that many cool looking cars this time round. The plot was somewhat narrow and thankfully there's a part 5 to look forward to. Mmm maybe they cut scenes? Possibilities. For one i think the scenes between Brian and Mia were too short and revealed little. Hahahha (Spoilers ahead!) The show ended with Brian teaming up with Mia to rescue Dom from a prison bus heading to a facility. And and if you wanna know more, head over to wikipedia. They have the entire story line there. Lol

Check out the before (part 1) and after (part 4) of Jordana Brewster.

See what i mean? hahaha

17 again on tues!

lie to me

Okayy so I'm back. For those ppl looking forward to the pics I took, good news is I'm going to upload them and do a really thorough entry on the 9d trip but bad news being uh I'm currently experiencing some technical difficulties at the moment so hahaha enjoy waiting.

Anyway, I'm glad to find a fellow "khaki" for 17 again alr. Going to get one for the fast and the furious 4 like asap. Probably by this week. If not, I shall endeavor to attempt my first time going to the movies alone. Hahaha i reckon it'll be a refreshing experience to say the least. Of course I would find some desolated place where no one knows me if not it'll be damn embarrassing. Lol but seriously speaking, going to the movies alone is in my long, never-ending list of things to try.

Still experiencing jet lag and my body is supertuned to US time which fortunately and unfortunately means I'm 15hr behind SIN time. I couldn't sleep a wink on the plane and mind you that was a 20 hour odd flight with transit at Narita. Of course the next morning I was zonked out. Given the time I went to bed the day i touched down (which was 4am), i only woke up at 330pm the day after although i only got up reluctantly an hour later. But that's like my record so far.

Just a brief intro of the itinerary for the 9d trip.
day 1: spent on the plane
d 2: reached LA; getting our directions around the neighbourhood
d 3: Disneyland (you haven't seen fireworks until you see Disneyland's!)
d 4: Las Vegas, baby
d 5: The Grand Canyon/helipcopter ride
d 6: shopping at factory outlet; choc factory; cactus garden; back to LA
d 7: Universal Studio (everyone shld visit this place!)
d 8: spent on plane
d 9: back in SIN

movie mania

I so badly want to watch:

the fast and the furious 4 (original cast)

I'm pretty sure that's not the original poster for part 4 but we just have to make do with. 9th April. Anyway Jordana Brewster is really hot! And the official website is really cool.

17 again

Why? You need to ask? YOOHOO ZAC EFRON! hahahhaha btw it sneaked in cinemas alr.

BUT. But. But.

Alas,

The City of Angels beckons first. Followed by Sin City.

so, ...
who's gonna join me for movies when i get back?

omg i love you yiling!

hahahahahha thanks a zillion for doing this. heheh i'm forever in your debt.

omg i was just watching my super sweet 16 on mtv. like wtf? the girl - amberly has like 300, 000US$ for her bloody sweet 16. so absurd. and she spent $16000 on her dress which she insisted on going to paris to get it, then fired her personal shopper because she didn't get The Pink Dress. lol. super superficial and hilariously hilarious. she's such a snob, kinda like a plastic barbie, total airhead. and she invited like 800+ ppl to her party at some theatre. what was that saying, abt dumb blondes? hahaha i swear she fits the description to a T.

sigh is smu ever gg to call? zzz
