love the way you lie

Just gonna stand there and watch me burn
But that's alright because I like the way it hurts
Just gonna stand there and hear me cry
But that's alright because I love the way you lie
I love the way you lie
I love the way you lie

I wouldn't be surprised if I end up bumming the two months away.

Like seriously.

How the hell did June fly by so fast?

And perversely, I'm looking forward to school.

Secondhand Serenade - Something More

I lie awake again, my bodies feeling paralysed
I can’t remember when
I didn’t live through this disguise
The words you said to me
They couldn’t set me free

I'm stuck here in this life i didn’t ask for
There must be something more,
Do we know what we’re fighting for?

Breathe in breathe out

And all these masks we wore
We never knew what we had in store

Breathe in breathe out

The storm is rolling in
The thunders loud it hurts my ears

I'm paying for my sins
And its gunna rain for years and years

I fooled everyone and now what will i become?
I have to start this over
I have to start this over

There must be something more,
Do we know what we’re fighting for?

Breathe in breathe out

And all these masks we wore
We never knew what we had in store

Breathe in breathe out

I fooled everyone and now what will i become?
I have to start this over
I have to start this over

There must be something more,
Do we know what we’re fighting for?

Breathe in breathe out

And all these masks we wore
We never knew what we had in store

Breathe in breathe out
There must be something more
Breathe in breathe out
There must be something more

Somehow...

I feel strangely stagnant.

Amidst all changes.

Everyone's moving.
Forward.
Backward.
It doesn't matter.
Not really.

Not when you're moving.

This is supposed to be the frigging highlight of my entire life. The peak of my 85 (if I were to trust the current statistics of woman's shelf life) long years.

What the fuck am I doing at home?

Suddenly hit by all the what-ifs and could-have-beens in my life. That's the thing when you have nothing to occupy your mind. It starts wondering down memory lane. Sad thing is, there seem to be more should-have-beens than awww memories being raked up.

It's been eight frigging weeks.

I NEED EXCITEMENT IN MY LIFE.

I need to start living my life, than reading about life. Damn.

I NEED SOMEONE TO TAKE A CHANCE WITH ME, ON ME.

Oh to be gainfully employed again

What i wouldn't do to be that...

What joy to be earning for your keep, in exchange for your time you get cash... (to be subject to changes)

How do you answer a question that goes like tell me more about yourself?
A loaded qn if there ever was one.

At the end of the day, i hope i get employed! I mean after six months of you know, it kinda gets bored, which is an understatement of the year.

nice day... for daydreaming

I think I might be a princess in my past life.

How else would you explain this anti-urgent way of mine trying to get something productive (aside from reading story books), or even money-making to occupy my time?

I actually fall into a pattern of not doing anything, or doing nothing (depending on your point of view, except reading story books) for one month and counting. Although there were times where I grumble and all about having no money, I wasn't doing anything much beyond that - grumbling that is. I think I might enjoy doing nothing judging by my self-proclaimed 8th deadly sin of humans which is inaction btw.

In addition to enjoying not doing anything, or doing nothing, I've also came to realize that I like people doing things to and for me. Take shampooing my hair for eg. Okay so I went for a haircut/trim today and I had this reflection while sitting on the chair, while the person massage my scalp, scrub and rinse, and massage, scrub and rinse, (you get my point). There's just something so soothing about the repetitive act. It's da life man.

And then having two person blowdry and styling/arranging it nicely your hair... It's deffo da life I tell you.

Meanwhile I tried to get the person to cut my hair like Kristen Bell (in When in Rome - gr8 movie btw), but it was safe to say she didn't fall too short of my expectations. And I actually think I have a huge tolerance level or +/- degree.

Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel (hawt! <3)

Zooming in...

Before, my fringe could reach my chin. Which was kinda surprising to me.

Anyway like I said, it's a nice day. Ciaos

Happy 399th post

YAAY.

I've come so far. Seriously, the idea of dropping this and reverting back to plain o' diary writing has hit me more than a few times. But what stopped me was having to pen my thoughts down myself. I like me, but sometimes I can't abide my own handwriting. Can you imagine?

And I kind of like that this blog is a forever will be kind of commodity. I can easily imagine myself ten long years down the road, typing boredomlovescompany.bs.com and start rereading my entries to reminisce about my adolescent years. I guess this is what they mean when they say Google making our digital footprints permanent. Although it is kind of creepy that other people (like stalkers!) may be stalking you online. But you'll never know. With the good comes with the bad. One of the fringe disadvantages of technology. A cross we must all suffer. For better or worse.

Hoho.

Anyway personally, I felt the graffiti-ed train was quite cool. You want to be an arts hub start acting like it. What's the big hoo-ha about erasing the train clean. More like stifling the creativity. Not that what that guy did was right. I mean sneaking in into a clearly no entry place? What's up with that? And what was his reason for sneaking into the depot place in the first place. Fascinating part was that commuters were the one who spotted the design before any of the train personnel did. If I were one of the commuters, I would definitely applaud the new look.
