LAX & LAS VEGAS (i knew having a diary wld come in handy!)

DAY 1:

DESTINATION: LOS ANGELAS AKA THE CITY OF ANGELS

Caught HSM3 (again) and Bedtime Stories on board.

Transit at Narita. Boarded plane again. Perused David Cook's, Lady Gaga's, Akon's, Neyo's, David Archeluta's, Christina Aguilera's album.

Sidenote to self: can really get used to this: ice cream after every meal (lol)

Checked in at Anaheim Park Hotel; then off we explored our surroundings abit and went in search for dinner. Decided on Tony Roma's but the fare was so-so although the garlic bread tasted weird. Oh and the waitress who served us was a Britney-lookalike! Hahaha. Set our sights on Ruby's for breakfast.

DAY 2:

Breakfast at Ruby's! Theme: old school. Check out their gum ball machine!

DISNEYLAND! (pretty self-explanatory, right?)

For every one hour we spend there, 45min was for queueing , 10min for navigating and 5min for the ride itself. And we spent the entire day there. Went around collecting fast passes, ate Churrios, taking photos and stuffs.

A glimpse of the Disney Magic: (frankly no time to upload all la! lol)

Ah the famous Disney Parade that runs only twice daily.

I didn't see any of the Disney Princesses around! No Snow White or the seven dwarves, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Little Mermaid and Mulan(?).

Disney Fireworks (nightly)

It was a myriad of colors as the sky lighted up. If you think Sg's fireworks on National Day are superb, you've seen nothing till you see Disneyland's! 20min of non-stop flashes of colors that stops everyone in their motion but to simply lift their heads up to observe the beauty of Disney's fireworks, attention fixated and, their mind simply fascinated by the sight before them. Even the pictures we capture couldn't explicitly illustrate and do justice to the allure of Disney's fireworks. Although half the reason why our pictures couldn't do justice was because of our off-timing and then after a while we just gave up. Lol so uh no photos on it. Anyway, i saw fireworks making smiley faces and mickey mouse shape. That was how cool it was.

DAY 3:

LAS VEGAS, BABY! AKA SIN CITY, CITY OF LOST WAGES, SECOND CHANCES

Had to bloody wake up and get ready by 610. Ate mac for breakfast en route. On the way there was pretty much sun, sand, mountains or maybe hills (idk how many metres they were elevated from the sea level lol) and lots of cars and pretty pretty clouds. Shall not bore you with scenery pictures. Then yada yada. Because we ended up running late, God knows why and certainly not our fault, the tour guide shortchanged us by cutting our shopping time. I wanted to boo him! Stopped for lunch at Quigley's Restaurant where they served really delicious stuffs and i ordered a Cheeseburger Deluxe or smth served with potato wedges and it was omg-ly good like mouthwatering delicious kinda of good and the meat so succulent. Man o man. After lunch, boarded the bus again. And just after some time after we resumed our treacherous journey to LV, the bus broke down when there was only 20 miles left to go. Not to ick you with details like bursting bladders, the only silver lining was the backdrop where almost everyone got down the bus to camwhore and enjoy the breeze because the a/c had to coincidentally break down too.

If you've been to Macau and thought that the hotels and casinos were shiny and flashy, again you've seen nothing until night time comes to Vegas although they do admittingly share some similarities cos the hoteliers were basically the same people. Talk abt the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. Anyway, they have theme hotels that will wow you yo your socks. Like one of them taking the shape of a pyramid (Giza), Eiffel Tower (Paris), Big Apple (New York), Disneyland and etc except in smaller scale. It's like some architecture's own mini world or dream come true. Several of them have roller coasters going in and out and around the hotels that will amaze you.

(omg i can't find the roller coaster one! tsk but look closer at the New York New York i think you can see the roller coaster rails.)

Checked in at Rivera where Harry the tour guide mentioned was featured in the film "21" and then we were off again to the next destination.

Went to visit The Venetian (sama sama as the one in Macau but still mediocre to the real Venice), Golden Nugget Hotel (named GN because they have the world's largest GN put on display there. ...) the volcano attraction (lame), musical fountain (more glorious than the Sentosa one which sis video-ed part of it down), and the Frame of Light: the world's largest tv screen where we caught that day's special; Queen's (not live) performing We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions of the World.

And i forgot which hotel we went to visit but one of them had the Guinness World Record for the largest chocolate waterfall. I could have an orgasm just by looking at it.

omg this is getting tiresome. shall cont tmr. toodles Grand Canyon tmr.
