deep side

just did some snooping around for the hotel we'll be staying in Perth. wlau! contrasting comments, but mainly poor criticisms from the first page. man. i duno what to expect at this point since i didn't exactly bother to go through all the comments. some images of the hotel look pretty disappointing too, but I'm not going to be superficial and judge a book by its cover. i, for one, should know that because nearly half the books I've read, didn't really have intriguing covers. in fact, they were tattered, some torn, some folded. what happened to the tiny note by the library book that says "I'm just a library book. do not yada yada yada me". obviously ignored. anyway, we'll (more of I'm haha)not going to talk about courtesy or consideration today. main point, what i found out about the hotel - Citigate Perth (formerly "Grand Chancellor Perth"). overall a 3.0 on a scale of 5.

Located in the "West End" of the CBD, Citigate Perth is within easy reach of everything Perth has to offer. 707 Wellington Street Perth WA 6000 to be exact. um, i would be the judge of that in time to come.

Picture Time!
since a picture tells a thousand words (why a thousand, not a hundred or a million, so interesting). haha
eeyucks i can't upload any photos. bummer. check here and here if you're interested or very bored under Candid traveler photos and more pictures respectively.

mmm so far, the pictures under the second here looks better than the first. so right now there are 3 possibilities (that i can think of at the moment),
1. wrong site; possible since the pictures look quite different
2. maybe they had a recent renovation job
3. perhaps this is it.

realised i sound pretty resigned with the 3rd option. haha
okay, from the 3 options you can see how desperate i am, 2/3 being on the positive note. but im really really not all that. the feelings inside have yet to reached that point yet, because im still very delighted, excited, thrilled and extremely pleased (my vocab is running short) that I'm going to Perth. how long has it been, since the last out-of-Asia trip? very very long. but but but i still must emphasize that the lodging helps to create a more fulfilled holiday. maybe its me and i know i shouldn't complain, grumble, whine or do stuffs along that line, but the lodging again i mention is oh-so-crucial please. half the reason why i enjoyed the bkk trip in June was because of the hotel. haha had nice, elegant, and spacious rooms, with satellite TV and trendy radio stations which me and my sis had used to the max. hahaha

okay. this is the end of my research. but it was nice doing it, despite the results i had. the first time is always the charm i guess. (?)

did i mention that I'll be going to a farmhouse to stay for 1 night (i think, i forgot). yay total coolness and yayness please. i really really look forward to seeing horses. it's something about them running free on green pastures that make me feel extremely at home and at peace. if i may, or if i might, i definitely want to ride a horse! the last time i had a horse so close was on a zoo excursion. i still have a vivid memory of a very young and naive me having a pony ride on a trip to the zoo. i think it was the p1 days.

can't wait to go!

oh shit. cant rmbr whether monday's training is in the morning or in the afternoon.

btw i made a new friend today. his name is toh jian wong. HAHAHA
long story. but i'll prolly share it here the next time i get bored.
