angel - natasha bedingfield
tmr's friday again.lil bro is coming back frm obs tmr. zzz
peace no more.
but, i bet he missed me. haha
caught glimpses of the opening ceremony of Olympics.
seriously, this is the first year ever that i've actually made an effort to watch.
totally regret missing all the action the last few years.
had two birthday celebrations during the mini national day holiday.
one on national day itself; my lil cuzzie shannon's in advance.
a pity i missed NDP this year, due to many reasons which started with Procrastination.
celebrated sx's bdae on mon w/ ky yl yl theresa and of cos the bdae girl.
went to seoul garden after like several years of not visiting it.
my last visit was like in sec2.
spent 15.3$ on it plus drinks.
but yaa, my point was, had lots of fun while doing silly things like piling the food,
then realising we had to pay 5$ for 100g of waste,
but still piling food on our plates all the same.
then pushing to one another to finish up.
after plan failed,
we tried impossible ways to try to make the food disappear like making the whole pieces into crumbs so the server won't suspect a thing,
or allowed the food to stay on the thingy so that it'll burn hopefully to you know get burnt.
in the midst, me and yl made up an excuse to go toilet.
okay it wasn't really an excuse since we really went to the toilet, but we did a detour after peeing.
went to get cake for the supposedly unsuspecting bdae girl.
but i think she knew that we going going to do smth like that.
after that was cam-whoring in the toilet and outside the Lego place at taka.
okay wasn't really cam-whoring since we only took a few.
anyway i left earlier for tuition while the others stayed for poker.
MICHAEL PHELPS IS MY NEW HERO!
HAHAHAHA
he's the reason why i'm so eager for male swimming action now.
i hope he wins like another Gold medal tmr.
finished Hotel Rwanda during GP today. omg so unbelievable that it's real history. war between the Tutsis and the Hutus. like another protestants vs catholics over again. but then of cos like mr chong said, media tends to play things up, exaggerate them, dramatize them, make them more climatic. so it's hard to determine what's real and what's not. it was heartwrenching at some parts and surprisingly some humorous scenes near the end. like when Paul went up to the rooftop scene and the bathtub scene. it really helped to lighten the mood. it's truly deserving of 3 nominations for global gold awards in 2005. which brings me to smth, it seemed that true heroes only exist in time of crisis. people like Paul, who really gave it his all to help others, sacrificing himself at times (as played by the actor in the film) and gets (thankfully!) rewarded in the end, his family being unharmed at all. i had thought at some point of time, that Paul would end up dead, like the lieutantant in another war film, Saving Private Ryan.
after maths remedial, i found out that yunting and I had the same amths teacher at mavis! god. 2 years and i srsly dun remember seeing her before. sure i knew there were quite some xinmin pple around, but omg like deja vu all over again. i knew jermaine had ms chee last year. so freaking coincident. okay now i really believe in the 6 degree of separation.
big sis went to catch love guru last night and said it wasnt even worth 6$.
darn it.
how come jessica alba always act in mediocre films.
next movie i'm aiming: Meet Dave.
that shld be alright.
i mean it's eddie murphy.
he's The Funny Guy.
if the movie stinks, i swear the next movie i'm watching is hsm3.
which is supposed to come to theatres on the 24 oct.
okay bye. am at a loss of words suddenly.
talk of the town: i'm seriously getting senile. and fat at the same time.
sighs.
Haha
