Full moon

Had a tiny teeny episode of little boy who cried wolf happening to me yest.

Except, I'm not a consummate liar. White lies aside, I pride myself on being honest, steady and dependable like a rock, just ask my little bruh or sista and etc. I could go on and on. But that's not the point.

Back to before the digression. The thing was no one believed me or my story, which was somewhat plausible, until I showed them evidence, which I felt disheartening. Jeez. Never knew their faith in me was so easily flappable. The former I would naturally take affront to, like who wouldn't! The latter, well... I gotta admit, it was a tad incredulous if it didn't happen to me firsthand but it did, so it's moot.

Still, could have done without bleeding for it.

Coincidentally, yest was a full moon.

Wikipedia:

The Moon has a long association with insanity and irrationality; the words lunacy and loony are derived from the Latin name for the Moon, Luna.
Philosophers such as Aristotle and Pliny the Elder argued that the full Moon induced insanity in susceptible individuals, believing that the brain, which is mostly water, must be affected by the Moon and its power over the tides, but the Moon's gravity is too slight to affect any single person.
Even today, people insist that admissions to psychiatric hospitals, traffic accidents, homicides or suicides increase during a full Moon, although there is no scientific evidence to support such claims.

It's amazing what interesting tidbits you get can from Wikipedia. Anyway, given the wolf theme post, you prolly gathered that my latest fiction faze is centred in werewolves. Hahah seriously. Lydia Dare is a great read. Bringing wolves into the regency is a superb spin on the old tale that turn man into four-legged beasts who howl at the moon.
