ahhhhh

i've been wanting to update this piece of thing for like forever but cldnt find a time to do so. so now, with all dates and events jumbled up, i seek to do so. okay now i realised i talk funny. man.

Pesta Sukan Carnival 2007 /5th Aug
funny incident. woke up late and cldnt meet teammates at the scheduled place and time. went there myself. then i actually boarded the same double decker bus with them unknowingly until one of my teammates saw me at the bus stop. ok nice try :)
didnt make it to the second round though and it was rather disappointing even though i shld feel numb by it alrdy. 4years and not counting :( Coach said some words that struck a chord during debrief. some of which, "we lose because we dun want to win" , "play with your heart" and that "Confidence comes with Skills". All so true and yet close to the heart. smth which i came up wih myself: Pretty Victories & Ugly Defeats. Ugly Betty also ended its roll on ch5 on this fateful day with some abrupt ending. just so you know, im waiting patiently for season2 :)

Pre-National Day & National Day /8th-9th Aug
crap. celebrations bored me but not to the extent of tears. had a few inside jokes though. lousy emcees not to mention names and some !!! who kept shouting into the mike. rushed home afterwards to shower and then met up at City Hall for the 24hr Netball Marathon at Suntec. since 7th, i alrdy felt like i overpacked. the tendency of me overpacking was more frequent than not ever since the bkk trip. and i really did overpacked. Haha. the goodie bags were somewhat disappointing after i heard some rumours of us being able to get the NDP ones. Overall, it was quite fun except that last match that happened to be the determining match. sighs but who to blame? with every match scheduled to take place after 2hrs sometimes 3hrs break, we cldnt do much. played UNO, mahjong and a lot of self entertainment plus made a few new friends. Haha. Like the not-sure-which-beer-advertisment, hao you man tian xia. Haha went to queue for Donut Factory after the last game and cool down. us being the patient lot, queued since 9 when it only opened its doors at 11. for the very first time, we were first in line. Haha went home after that to catch some beauty sleep alas only to meet up again for fireworks later. catched like 3hrs of pathetic sleep and rushed off to meet them again at City Hall. bought the white star at $1 which was very worthwhile considering it came with workable batteries. squeezed like sardines to get to an ideal spot. being netballers was another advantage as we were quite sharp with the tiny but open spaces and alrdy go used to pushing. then in the midst of waiting for the fireworks, a fight nearly broke out. like so scary la. i mean we are all here for one common purpose, to celebrate the nation's bdae ok maybe not but to see fireworks at the very least right. need to fight meh. zzz some pple are just plain crude and violent. how did they ever escape the hands of educaion being able to reform pple? lots of profanities were sprouted out. zzz spoiler. caught several shots of the fireworks and wow i dun mean to be bhb but either my timing is damn good or my photography skills are damn pro. Haha maybe 2 out of the 2. after fireworks, chiong yet again to meet up with sx yl yl ky and theresa for a movie, and the netballers settled for kbox. despite the original plan of what we had in stall for sx being ruined, we still managed to had lots of fun. caught Rush Hour 3. damn funny la.

went swimming with B finally after so many eons. obviously exaggerating here but for privacy, no names will be disclosed. i miss going swimming with B. maube it was his raging hormones or smth. boys boys boys. cant do without them either/

Shannon's bdae celebartions /11 Aug
another funny incident. okay Shannon's my cousin but im like one whole zodiac cycle older than her. (12 years if you dun get it) I have another cousin which is one whole zodiac cycle smaller than my sister. Haha it's like my family tree operates in a strange 12yr cycle. whatver but thats not the funny part yet. W and X has been dating for like 1month plus only. and everybody alrdy know each other through photographs. ahh lets take a moment to marvel at the wonder of technology. Haha. so X has been invited to the party too. so funny. now X knows everybody. anyway we all had fun mingling at the tables. after which we played 007 bang! fun game which i used to thgt was exclusive to wss netballers only. i thgt wrong. :)

been typing this since 239 i think. recaping requires time. Haha. anyway got to go off to do my EoM alrdy. dued tmr plus i have yet to revise for the upcoming chem and physics test this week. .....................
